I have not seen John Carpenter's first film, but this remake is pretty good. It has more action and not get bored.

It is an action film but it has some suspense.An easy film,not out of print with a quasi-known action,actors and achieve specific effects interpretation is good

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie because it was realistic. No one gets shot and is blown 10 feet back like in the typical action movies you see.
